Super converter ds

Scanners also come with multiple cables that you can hook up to your TV, computer, and other devices that you can use with it. Some of the best options you have when it comes to these products are those that come with free SD cards, free printers, and even free cleaning brushes and cloths.

At the end of the day, what you choose to purchase for your conversion needs is dependent on what formats you have and what kind of conversion you are looking for. If you want your 8mm films and Super 8 films to be converted into a digital video format, then the latter three products mentioned here are not the right ones for you. You are better off choosing between the first two scanner-converters listed here. These last three are capable of converting a wide variety of films into clear and crisp images that you can save on your computer, upload online, or print for display in frames and picture albums.

There are a lot of these to be found online and these include converters that are more expensive and only support one or two formats. Listed above are the more budget friendly options that have lots of great consumer reviews and are easy to use. Suffice to say, converting your old 8mm and Super 8 films into digital format, no matter what product you use to do this, is a good idea. Not only do you preserve your memories in a format that is clearer, crisper, and easier to access, but you also stop damaging your old films with constant use.

After you convert your old films into the new digital format, you can either choose to upload these on video sharing platforms online or burn DVDs that you can give to family members. You can also choose to simply save these on your computer for future use.

In the long run, you end up saving a lot of money by converting your old films yourself rather than having a professional service do this for you. Excellent point Mark …. The other 3 products make an image of a single frame. I highly doubt anyone has the time or patience to make images for each frame of a film, one-by-one, and then string all those JPG images into a video file. I hope software is available to do the second task. Yesterday, I read on the web a history of Canon cameras. Their first attempt at a sound camera coupled a silent film camera with a tape recorder.

In addition to recording the sound of what was being recorded, the tape recorder also recorded inaudible audio blips containing frame numbers supplied by the camera.

To project a sound film required coupling a projector with the tape recorder; the projector could use the frame number blips from the recorder to speed up or slow down the projection speed to get the film and sound in sync. You could project a sound film and simultaneously record the audio to your computer. Then, add the audio to the video. Of course, there might be a good possibility that the entire audio is already in sync with the film if the video has the same frame rate as the projector.

A commenter on Amazon explained and showed this work-around. Although I suppose you could work something up with a metal coat hanger on which a movie reel could freely unreel. Thank you for your inputs. I appreciate it.

This is also my roadblock to find the right scanner to scan sounds. Albeit, if that would be available, that would cost more dollars in its value. I have a Sony Handycam 8 mm camera. I bought a brand new Wolverine Moviemaker Pro. I will spare you my details but, in short, I plan to throw it in the trash. I hate to say it is garbage but it is. It misaligns the film every 5 mins or so. I want to buy another product that converts film to digital but I am now concerned about the quality of these machines.

Can anyone suggest one that does a good job? I am done with it. Just looking for suggestions. I too am looking for a replacement as this one is going back to amazon. It is my belief that these unit s are all coming from the same factory with different names and maybe some color variations on the houseings.

I have the Wolverine Moviemaker Pro, same experience as above, film does not stay aligned, plan to return to via Amazon. Looking for a replacement. A totally different product. I believe 16mm cameras did but the super 8 and 8 mm camera my father had did not have a microphone on or capabilities of sound recording. Very few super 8 and 8mm films included sound. If you want to sound you should play the film through your sound projector and record the sound separately.

Digital runs at a different speed than film. So you need to use 3rd party software to change the speed. Otherwise people will move extra fast. Most Super8 cameras were silent but in tne mids some were recording on a magnetic stripe glued on the film base.

The stripe could also be added on silent film to record a music track after editing. Also available was the Super8 Sound recorder using a 8mm wide magnetic tape with sprocket holes, the same size than super8 film, also to be synced with the camera or projector by a pulse system. The only way to recover the sound track on a super8 film is to play it on a sound projector and record the sound digitally.

After this you have to use a movie editng software to add the sound to the movie. However, since the projector speed is not fully stable, the sound will not sync perfectly to your mp4 movie. You will have to manually stretch or shrink the sound track in the timeline one shot at a time, to fit the movie pace, this may be a long process depending on the precision you wish to get.

A professionnal video editing software may be needed for bests results. Now I am not a Software Guru But if they are listening I downloaded and installed this SUPER encoder and as it's said before, you have to right click on it's icon and choose "run it as an Administrator". Decoding is pretty fast and the output is good, but I have a problem. The movie is now split in five parts. Does anyone know how to output the encoding in a single file, the way the is supposed to be?

Am I doing something wrong with the encoder? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Installed It took to long to install, then it wont even start Running vista ultimate, i try and try i even restart it the pc and nothing, just wont work for me.

I downloaded and istalled the software I've never used software like this before, but it was easy. I recommend it. I would like to see a frame count instead of the no-good percentage count when encoding.

This software is great! Here is another link to download this latestest build. I use this software all the time, you just have to fine tune the settings for what you want Though it lacks some features you cannot complain, it's free and works very well. May be they are trying ti siphon info from your computer. This software is shite. Ok, thats not right!!! Im getting erratic output sizes.

Sizes that are not logical at all. See, Since the program doesnt have a bitrate calc, I was trying to figure a way to use the standard windows calc. Slight bumps in bitrate output caused a huge increase in output size. Anyhelp much appreciated. Its a shame this software, atleast i dont think it has Ive encoded one file 4 times and havnt found the right bitrate to use.

Oh and it doesnt let you manually give an exact video bitrate. Maybe i havnt explored enough yet. It looks like a pretty nice program. I am somewhat green to the encoding world. But am quite intrigued by how much a video file can be compressed while still being lossless to the human eye!!! Perhaps they fixed that bug. I even scanned the finished installed directory. At this point i recommend this software to anybody with atleast some encoding skills. Not as user friendly as one might think.

I rated this software good, but We'll see. Here are my findings for Version 24, it seems to hook the kernel also. These hooks activate whenever the program runs, when it stops then they unhook, still not fair, I think it is better said than done.

It seems not to be completely free after all, I found these system hooks in Version 23, and similar in Version 24, haven't tried Version 25 yet. The suspect file is mencoder. If you right click on Super it will let you choose where you want the files to go. This program works great only two problems i have found so far I have to be running another program simultaneously be it seems to run more as a background program and my computer shuts down if i don't say watch a video while converting.

Recently however as soon as I start to use the program my computer automatically shuts down. Very good. Please let someone work on this.

Just needed to click the "Direct Show" button. I posted this quite a while ago but it never showed up. Has anyone gotten build 22 to work for them? I'm getting nothing. I had some flv files I wanted to convert to mpg. As promised a few choice were made and the program delivered a working mpg. However I did find that in order to make the program work you must be in at least x otherwise the controls to encode are not displayed.

The only other problem was where the output file was going. This was hidden in the right click menu.

I do not see why it is not present like all the other choices on the main window. Wonderful piece of software! As someone mentioned before, this is NOT a piece of spyware or a trojan or any type of malware.

I also scanned it using several scanners when someone said it was dangerous. There's nothing wrong with it. Please read the links that you reference again. The trojan installs itself in the default system folder on a windows machine. This program installs super. Re: The "no activation button" problem, ie. Process is slow BUT free and no catches as with most demos.

I downloaded build 19 and that worked O. I sent several e-mails to custoner support but they bounced back to me. I was finally able to download an. Program won't start unless you give it access to the trusted zone and access to the internet. If this is truly just to check for updates as they claim, they should make it optional.

Like giving your house keys to a stranger. IF the program automatically begins converting, it doesn't let you know. Useless piece of software. Supposedly incredibly simple to use, it would be, if it worked.

Start the program up, drag and drop the file There's no 'start' button, and program automatically begins converting, it doesn't show anything to let you know. Don't waste your time downloading this.

Hi, I hope the "Developer' of this program is reading this. I downloaded this program and installed it two different times Program seems to work Also maybe someone can write a "Dummy Guide" for those of us that don't knwo all the proper Scales and formats. Thanks, G! Haven't found anything like it elsewhere. Seems to work on any media almost. Very impressive indeed. Message to aRTynz above: On my W2K box I had headache with the menus as well, but after I changed the skin from the right-click menu it sorted itself out.

So, obviously skin related. Works perfectly with another skin This software is, as claimed, all that you can't get elsewhere for money, and free. Just one thing - I have the latest version, build 19, and the drop down menus do not work properly. They do not drop down when clicked. The only way I can negotiate them is to click and then use up or down arrow and repeat this to move through all items.

My system is Win-XP and is fully up to date with software upgrades. BatchDPG was primarily created to offer better quality than the default converter, but has numerous other advantages. These advantages include: support for any video file that can be played in a DirectShow based media player, automatic framerate calculation, easy to add subtitle support, mono audio encoding, ability to set a maximum bitrate to avoid the video freezing for some time, less out-of-sync issues apparently caused by a bad resampling algorithm, and -ofcourse- batch support.

Besides the basic converting function, DPG Converter for Mac is also possessed of valuable editing functions to specify output file better to fit for your NDS. You need the latest. Net Framework v3. The video is encoded on a computer and then transferred, along with Moonshell, to the DS for playback.
