2 player racing games ps3 offline
Click to expand Ridge Racer can be picked up for peanuts now had a look at sega rally and wasnt impressed with it Dal. Can someone please recommend a good motor racing game for the PS3 that lets two people race head to head. I have looked but can't seem to find a game that offers this feature. I bought Sega Rally for this feature. Some people will vouch for it, but I found the handling so bizarre that i have since sold it on. What's embarassing is that the default controller setup is forced upon controller 2: and the default controller settings involve using the shoulder buttons to accelerate.
If you like very arcade handling never press brake or release the accelerator and are happy to use R2 to accelerate, then it does have a split screen which runs seemlessly. I bought this game with the presumption it was MP without checking lol but was only dissapointed for about 2 minutes until i saw the graphics! VERY impressed. Stinja Distinguished Member. Watching the video for Wrecked, and looking at the new driving mechanics and racing customisability, I thought I was sold - but then I saw that there are very few tracks and, worse of all, no AI bots! A shame really, I would have bought it straight away if there were AI cars. Usually I'll only be playing these games two- or three-player at uni, so the lack of AI means I probably won't get much out of the game.
Good suggestion though, thanks. Modnation is extremely tempting too though, if everyone agrees the customization is just as fun offline. I don't think I'll get Blur or Dirt 3 unless someone else thinks I'll really be missing out.
As for Driver, one of my flatmates actually has it, although I haven't played it yet he's a bit weird. Regardless, it'd probably be a waste if I were to buy it seeing as I could just borrow it off of him.
Any more advice is still much appreciated! MwarriorHiei 9 years ago 8. Nth 9 years ago 9. I prefer the racing in Modnation to other racing games. More topics from this board Can anyone tell me why the HDD access light comes on at 3am even though the ps3 is powered down?
